No. Arts Access does not provide ASL interpreters but you can visit the ASL Services page on our website to learn more about how to secure an ASL Interpreter, including a list of interpreters and contact info, sorted by county, maintained by NC DHHS Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Does Arts Access provide captioning services? 

At this time, Arts Access does not provide captioning services. We have compiled several resources for understanding and creating captions yourself, or places to outsource captions. 

Does Arts Access provide Audio Description (AD)? 

Arts Access does provide Audio Description (AD) services. Audio Description is a narration service for individuals who are blind or have low vision. The audio describer provides an ongoing dialogue of visual events that are taking place on the stage, screen, at the museum, or even public speaking events. Arts Access has a roster of audio describers that describe at local theaters and live performances.
