Terence Ingram

My landscape paintings aim to depict unique and seldom-seen perspectives. The interplay of realism and fantasy in my other works creates a captivating tension within the artwork.  Careful observation grounds the piece in a recognizable world.  Elements of the fantastical then emerge, subtly disrupting the familiar. This fusion invites viewers to question their perceptions of reality.  The resulting dreamlike quality evokes a sense of wonder and intrigue.

Immense and terrible, the angel welcoming new souls with Whirling wheels surrounded its form, a symphony of eyes constantly scanning. Multiple wings, feathered and edged with light, unfolded and shifted. It stands behind the gates of heaven with clouds and stairs leading up to it.
